Dated for 2009, this handcrafted Hallmark Keepsake ornament is a Magic ornament with interactive light and sound. The box description tells the story: “You be the conductor! Press the button in front of any one of the three snowmen to start the music and light show. While the song plays, press the other buttons on the base to add or remove other snowmen from the performance.” The battery-operated unit plays a jazzy and well recorded rendition of  “Let It Snow” as yellow, red, and blue lights shine on the snowmen. A red bird (no, we can’t really call it a Cardinal) conducts the group from a ice block in front. In another unique touch, the ornament hanger rod over the group hold a large studio-type microphone with an appropriately textured black windscreen.

The model was crafted by Hallmark artist Sharon Visker.  It is about 4 inches tall and about as wide; this is a big ornament that needs a decent amount of room on your tree and a stable place to rest.

This is a truly wonderful and entertaining ornament made with the typical care and quality we expect from Hallmark. You can have some real fun selecting which snowman will perform! One of the finest Hallmark ornaments of 2009.

This ornament is item #QXG6032 and retailed for $32.00 in the U.S.
