Garden Expert Says: Grow Your Own Mistletoe

Steve Bradley, a gardening expert at The Sun (UK), informs readers that they can grow their own mistletoe by inserting berries into the bark of certain plants. Mistletoe is a parasitic plant that grows on trees or shrubs and has been used as a Christmas decoration since the 18th century. The practice of kissing under the mistletoe apparently began in Scandinavia as a result of Norse mythology.
